Amsterdam is known for two things: bikes and canals. But each year nearly 15,000 bicycle wrecks are fished from the Amsterdam canals. That’s a lot of scrap metal.

As V2C we are proud of being from Amsterdam. To pay homage to our heritage, we’re giving these forgotten bicycles new life by using them to create a series of “Drowned Bottle Openers”. The limited-edition bottle openers are made from different parts of discarded bikes that were dredged up from the bottom of the Amsterdam canals.

Make it memorable! The handmade limited collection is made exclusively by Amsterdam based craftsman and designer David Kroupa.
